The Youth Social Action Journey Fund Programme was funded by the Cabinet Office to create new social action opportunities in areas of high deprivation and low provision and improve the link between Youth United members and the National Citizen Service (NCS).
The overall aims of the project were to:
· Increase the number of young people aged 10-17 engaged in high quality social action and support 16-17 year olds to take part in NCS.
· Increase access for the growing number of NCS graduates aged 16-20 to engage in high quality social action and leadership opportunities.
