Youth United Foundation is delighted to have been nominated for Best New Charity at this year’s Charity Times Awards. The winner of that and the other 27 categories will be announced at the magazine’s gala dinner and awards ceremony, to be hosted by comedian Lucy Porter at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge on 7 October.
A 13-strong panel of judges will choose the category winner from a group of nominees that also includes Bounce Back Foundation, GO! (Great Opportunities) Together, Mane Chance Sanctuary, Millie’s Trust, The Silver Line Helpline and The Teapot Trust. Awards are also up for grabs in the charity of the year, fundraising team of the year, best use of the web and international charity categories, among others.
Sue Lomas, chair of Youth United Foundation, said “It is very pleasing to see the work of Youth United Foundation in supporting our member organisations recognised by this nomination. In a relatively short time, we have together enabled thousands of young people to have the opportunity to participate in programmes which have a real impact on their futures.”
The awards, now in their sixteenth year, were established to honour outstanding charities and professionals – and Youth United Foundation is pleased to be among this group.
